Concert Review
Kaytee Bodle at Schubas Tavern in
Chicago, IL
August 10th, 2003 (w/Stuart Davis)

I was lucky enough to catch
Kaytee's opening set Sunday night in Chicago.
I'm going on memory, but here is what I remember her playing:
1. She opened with an unknown song that I liked a lot
2. Fighter
3. Paris
4. The Town's Not For Me
5. Things I Carry
6. Marriage
7. Turning Japenese
8. Adam Ant's Road To Recovery
9. Bottom of the CD Pile
It wasn't in that order and I wish I could be a little more
informative on the song titles since there were a lot
of new ones, but I assure you they were all excellent. Her
songwriting seems to have matured 100% and I'd
never realized how good a guitar player she was. And her voice
was amazing. Sounding a lot like Tori Amos,
who is one of my favorites. She was just as sweet and adorable as
you think she is. I don't know if anyone else
at the show knew her, but they seemed to enjoy it a lot so that
was cool. I never even heard of the guy she
opened for but he was good too. A guy name Stewart Davis. All in
all, great show.
